The USI team delivered lectures at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) under the first Indo-China joint capacity building programme for Afghan diplomats on 22 October 2018. The programme was launched with statements from Indian Foreign Minister and dignitaries from China and Afghanistan.

The programme was launched with statements from Indian Foreign Minister and dignitaries from China and Afghanistan. 10 diplomats from Afghanistan participated in the programme.

Maj Gen BK Sharma, AVSM, SM** (Retd), Deputy Director (Research) and Head of Centre for Strategic Studies and Simulation at the USI and Maj Gen RPS Bhadauria, VSM (Retd), Distinguished Fellow, USI delivered lectures on India’s Role in Peace building in Afghanistan and Cross Border Terrorism. Both the lectures were heard with rapt attention by the participants. The Q&A session saw many interesting and incisive questions being asked.
