The speakers were Professor Srikant kondapalli, Maj Gen SB Asthana, SM, VSM, (Retd), Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan, AVSM, VSM (Retd).

The Director, USI, Lt Gen PK Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), commenced the session with his welcoming and opening remarks followed by presentation by Professor Srikanth Kondapalli on “China in Post 19th National Party Congress of the CPC Era: Geopolitical, Strategic and Security Implications.”

In the subsequent presentation, Maj. Gen SB Asthana, SM, VSM (Retd) talked on the topic “Why, What and How Things Happened the Way It Happened In the 19th National Party Congress of the CPC.”

It was followed by the presentation by Maj Gen Rajiv Narayanan, AVSM, VSM (Retd) on the topic “Strategic Continuum of China’s Strategic Behaviour: Implication for India post the 19th Congress of the CPC.”

In the Question & Answer session participants discussed security and strategic behaviour of China, and its implication post the 19th National Party Congress.
