Yes! The Sunni Arab states have cleared all doubts and misapprehensions. They are going after the ISIS, even if that upsets the Sunni-Shia balance of power in Iraq and Syria. In spite of all the criticism, Obama’s campaign against the ISIS has taken off!

Saudi warplanes were part of the first international mission to attack the so-called Islamic State militants in their Syrian bases. Crown Prince Salman, the minister of defense, has made it clear that this is only the start of the Kingdom’s important contribution to the drive to defeat what he described as “the forces of darkness.” An editorial in Saudi Arabia’s noted English daily ‘Arab News,’ titled ‘Fighting Forces of Darkness’ enunciates the kingdom’s commitment to wipe ISIS off the map.
