Dr. Roshan Khanijo's academic qualification includes BSc, MA and PhD. Her topic for the doctoral thesis was "Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and Developing Countries – A Critical Appraisal" She is the author of a book "Complexities and Challenges of Nuclear India" She was the member of the study team which did the Net Assessment on China and South Asia. She has been a panelist in Panel Discussions on nuclear issues. She presented a paper in the seminar organized by CIISS (China Institute for International and strategic Studies) in Beijing .She also took part in the discussions held by CICIR (China Institute of Contemporary International Relations) in Beijing. She has taken guest lectures for Jindal International University .Currently she is working as a Research Fellow at USI.

USI Team conducted National Security Programme at National Police Academy, Hyderabad. The Department of Personnel and Training, GoI conducts a 5- day programme for senior officers from the IAS, IFoS, IRS, IC&CES and Defence Services. The programme covers a wide range of contemporary comprehensive national security issues; socio political, economic, resource, technology, military and multi domain security issues.

USI Conducted Internship Programme for Students from 03 June – 02 July 2019 at USI

USI conducted internship programme for students from Delhi University, Symbiosis University, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Christ and Jindal University from 03 June – 02 July 2019 at USI. A group of 15 students from undergraduate and postgraduate courses participated in the one month internship programme. The programme was designed to acquaint students with contemporary national / international strategic affairs, national security issues, foreign policy and research methodology.
