33rd USI National Security lecture: Media as a Force Multiplier for National Security

On December 6, 2017 the United Service Institution (USI) conducted its 33rd annual National Security Lecture on the theme “Media as a Force Multiplier for National Security.”

On December 6, 2017 the United Service Institution of India (USI) conducted its 33^rd Annual National Security Lecture on the theme “Media as a Force Multiplier for National Security.”

The session commenced with the opening remark from Lt Gen PK Singh, PVSM, AVSM, (Retd), and Director USI. The Lecture was presented by Dr. Sanjaya Baru, Former Media Advisor to the Prime Minister of India in the presence of Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat and other distinguished guests.

Later, Army Chief addressed the guests on the importance of Media and its role in strategic communication.

The session ended with Q&A session with active participation from the distinguished audience.
