Inaugural remarks were made by Dr Sitakanta Mishra, Professor of International Relations, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
In the first session, Maj Gen BK Sharma, AVSM, SM** (Retd), Dy Director (Research), USI gave a presentation on Overview of India’s National Security Strategy.
It was followed by a Q&A session.
In the second session, Shri Sanjay Singh, IFS (Retd) gave an Overview of India’s Foreign Policy with focus on Neighbourhood First Policy, Connect Central Asia, Look West & Act East.
It was followed by a Q&A session.
In the third session, Maj Gen RPS Bhadauria, VSM (Retd), Distinguished Fellow, USI gave a presentation on Sino-Pak Strategic Nexus; Implications for India & Response. It was followed by a presentation by Dr Roshan Khanijo, Senior Research Fellow & Research Coordinator, USI on China-Pakistan Nuclear Nexus.
It was followed by a Q&A session.
In the final session, Vice Admiral Satish Soni, PVSM, AVSM, NM (Retd) discussed on Geo-political Developments in Indo-Pacific: Implications for India.
It was followed by a Q&A session.
Dr Nausheen Nizami extended the Vote of Thanks.
The closing remarks were given by Lt Gen PK Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), Director USI.
