Exercise Kootneeti – Strategic Gaming Exercise for 47th Higher Command Course At Army War College Mhow: 24-26 July 2018
Ex-KootNeeti was conducted for students of Higher Command Course- 47 (HCC-47) as a Strategic Gaming Ex (SGE) at Army War College Mhow on 24 and 26 July 2018. The Aim of the exercise was to provide an exposure to participants in analysing dynamics of China’s growing influence in the IOR, its impact on regional and national security and formulation of comprehensive response strategy in keeping with national interests.

USI team Participated in National Security Seminar held at the National Police Academy (NPA) , Hyderabad from 25 June 2018 to 29 June 2018
The USI team participated in a week long National Security Seminar organised byNational Police Academy (NPA) for senior police, central police, military, intelligence and civil services officers. The major themes of the seminar were National Security a macro view, internal security, external security challenges .border management, cyber security, maritime security, nuclear security, economic security, energy security, media security, Pak China Strategic Nexus.

USI conducted an internship programme for the students of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar and O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) from 04 June to 03 July 2018 at USI. A selected number of students from Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Pune, Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia and Miranda House, University of Delhi also participated in the programme.
